Can You Have Popcorn on Whole30?

Life Health HQ is reader-supported, which means we may earn a small commission through products purchased using links on this page. Here’s how it works.

No – you cannot have popcorn on Whole30.

Sorry to disappoint. I know popcorn is delicious!

Why is popcorn not allowed on Whole30? Well, popcorn is corn, and corn is a grain. Grains (including corn) aren’t allowed on Whole30. Therefore, popcorn is a no go!

If you’re looking for alternative snack ideas, try:

  • carrot sticks
  • mixed nuts
  • apple slices

Or consider checking out our list of Whole30 approved snacks, with more items like Epic bar bites (aka beef jerky bites), seaweed snacks, and more!
