Yes! You can have mushrooms on Whole30 – hurrah!
Mushrooms are super tasty, which is why we’re so happy that all varieties are allowed on Whole30. Mushrooms are vegetables, and therefore are totally compliant with the Whole30 program. They’re great in stir frys, soups, and other dishes.
Portobello mushrooms can also be great as bun substitutes, serving as a kind of Whole30 sandwich bread.
