Whole30 Bolognese

This quick and easy Whole30 bolognese is an easy dinner when you’re short on time.

Ingredients:

  • 3-4 spiralized zucchini
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 onion
  • 2 gloves of garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tbsp of oregano
  • 1/2 tsp of thyme
  • 1 tbsp fresh basil, finely chopped
  • 1 can (28 oz) diced tomatoes (undrained)

Instructions:

On medium heat olive oil in a pan, add garlic, then add onions once garlic becomes fragrant. Cook onions for 3-4 minutes until translucent.

Add ground beef, breaking up into pieces as it cooks. Saute until beef is brown and cooked throughout, about 5-7 minutes.

Add diced tomatoes, oregano, thyme, basil, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine

Bring to a boil and then reduce heat to low-medium. Let simmer for 20-30 minutes, or until sauce has thickened.

Meanwhile, place another skillet on medium heat with olive oil. Once heated, add the zucchini noodles. Cook 3-5 minutes or al dente. Be careful not to overcook them!

Add a serving of sauce to a serving of zucchini noodles, and you’ve got yourself a Whole30 compliant bolognese!
